The roof of the new Pavilion B at the Genoa Trade Fair Complex
The design by Jean Nouvel is distinguished by the bold steel canopy overhanging the water, which breaks up the box shape of the pavilion in a continuous movement between the interior and the outside and the immense rectangular plane created by the relective covering, which seems to mirror the blue of the sky.

New Trade Fair Centre in La Spezia
A trade fair building in the form of an ‘architectural promenade’, with a metal tube turning in on itself over two levels – the new trade fair building in La Spezia show a balanced combination of formal simplicity and spatial variety, achieved by adopting steel construction solutions.

The new Alenia Aeronautica complex for the B787 programme
The new Alenia production complex at Grottaglie-Monteiasi will be used to manufacture the fuselage of the new Boeing B787 Dreamliner aircraft. The entire building has been calibrated and designed to blend into the surrounding environment and cause as little disturbance as possible to the landscape. Maximum dynamism has been built into the facades by means of the cuts and folds in the covering material. Excellent natural lighting is guaranted inside the building by means of the deliberate shed roof design, a solution which also ensures energy savings.
